The Unshaven Rant-Cast: Episode 49.2!

Written on Tue, Mar 13, 2012 by Marc posted by marc

In the second half of the podcast we tell all our kickstarter backers when they’re getting their cool schwag, when our next convention appearance is, talk about the possibility to own a LIMITED EDITION SAMURNAUTS HELMET, and then we have a very heated debate. It was just going to be a light episode, and then we decided to ask the biggest question we’ve ever tackled; Spider-Man vs. Batman. Listen, and then chime in, in the comments section below!

We’re very close to getting to 52 episodes. Just wait, kiddos. When that happens… everything changes. If you haven’t been listening, we’ve been dropping clues in every episode about something very big happening. Have you figured it out yet?

Are you all removing your red trunks after #52??????????? I hope not that would be scary!!

Actually, Jim Lee will be redesigning our podcast. It will have a whole bunch of extra unnecessary crap added to it. Also, we’ll reference old episodes… but what we’re referencing may or may not have happened as you remember it… The only way to know for sure is to keep listening…

  3. Ok Fine!!!!

The Limited Edition Samurnaut Army Helments get the crest!!

Why? Oh! Why? are you guys always right?

I also believe Spider-man kicks Batman without any prep.

Batman kicks his ass all the way with prep.

I think Wonder Woman gets short changed in all of this. She is willing to kill, formal training, super strength from the gods. Kicks Batman’s ass with or without time to prepare. You could get me to think about Superman loosing to Batman with prep but not wonder woman who is also trained to be prepared as a warrior for everything. I would love to see Superman fly into space find Batman and fry him in seconds. Prepare for that, I dont think he could reasonably.

Nothing beats 1960s Batman. Go Adam West!!!!!!!

    No prep – Spider-man wins.
Prep – Batman all the way.

Movies is a tough one. I like the Nolan Batman movies, and the first Burton film, but Batman and Robin really drops the overall average. Nipples, the fact that Arnold’s entire dialogue consited of nothing but one-liners, Bane was retarted and Alicia Siverstone as Batgirl, plus Jim Carey as the Riddler in Forever…I’m going with Spider-man. Sorry marc.

Cartoons – I’m older so when I was a kid, Spidey and His Amazing friends was awesome. Not so much today. Batman The Animated series still holds up today and is still one of the best cartoons ever so Batman wins.

Throw in video games with Arkham Astylum and Arkham City so I guess Batman wins.

We didn’t go over video games… but if we did… I would have said Spider-Man. Maximum Carnage on SNES, the Xbox Spider-Man games, and even the newer ones on the 360 have been better than a TON of crappy Batman games. Basically ALL of them before Arkham Asylum/City.

And you didn’t appreciate the Bat Nipples? Damn. I’d hoped there was someone out there who dug them…
